I have a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of St. Thomas. Opportunities working with kids in foster care established my foundation in understanding the social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties that kids can face on a regular basis. Additionally, I have worked with adolescents and adults with goals to improve anxiety, depression, relationships, and stress. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, niece, and working out at the gym. I am an avid dog and cat lover for sure. Are you ready to embark on a path toward healing and positive change? I am here to provide compassionate support and guidance. Let's work together toward a brighter future. I am supervised by Lora Peters, LPC-S.
I personally like to use approaches that are best for each individual client. My preferences are an eclectic approach of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and person-centered as I find them to stress the importance of the therapeutic relationship, coping skills, and incorporating a combination of client-centered and structure.
